Temple Trip

Thursday directly after school my ward did baptisms for the dead. We went and was able to eat in the cafeteria there food is so good. After we got dressed in our nice white jump suits then I was confirmed for 10 people ranging from 1800-late 1700's then I got my names to be baptized and there was a girl named Dorthea Princess of...... I can't remember the place and there was no date but I really hope she accepts the gospel so I can meet her and all of the people that I have baptized. Baptisms are one of my favorite activities and I am very thankful for the temple and the peace and blessings that we can all receive.

School

With school going on I am pleased to say that today was my first day not having homework this year! In woods class we are about to start our projects and I absolutely love woods I never thought I would find a hobby that I enjoyed so much I'm glad my friends talked me into doing it even though there not in my class it gave me an opportunity to meet new people. Although, I do have to read my scriptures for Seminary but I don't consider that homework. I am a little behind only 12 sections behind and since there is short section and a 4 day weekend ahead I am hoping to get caught up.
Today we had a great devotional by a student named Bradley I thought that I would share it with you because it was a very strong message and an important subject to him.
D&C 121:45
Let thy bowels also be full of
charity towards all men. and to the
household of faith,and let virtue
garnish thy thoughts unceasingly;
then shall thy confidence wax strong
in the presence of God; and the
doctrine of the priesthood shall distil
upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.

He said that it is not only to keep our bodies clean but it is important to keep our thoughts clean too. When we think something it is like actually doing it. He also commented on how important women modesty is to him. It doesn't just go to how low your shirts are in the front or back. It is also how tight they are. Bradley told us how and it is for him to keep his thoughts clean when so many young women were tight shirts and that he can think of many respected people that even where clothing like that.

He challenges us all to help the young men out and dress modestly so we can all have clean thoughts.
